Devin Robinson

Devin Robinson

Owner, Head Instructor, Grandmaster, 45

Eighth degree black belt and daughter of Grandmaster Curtis Futch,
Grandmaster Devin Robinson is the owner and head sensei of Phoenix Rising Martial Arts. Grandmaster Devin has practiced karate from the age of three years old, has endless hours of teaching experience, and has gathered hundreds of techniques from other martial arts to include into her karate curriculum. Sensei Devin is endlessly patient and kind, knowing exactly when to push her students to their limits and when to hold back. Devin is willing to find the right way to connect and share her knowledge with every student, regardless of age, background or pre-existing experience.
Sanzin Doriocourt

Sanzin Doriocourt

Instructor, 1st Degree Black Belt, 16

Sanzin Doriocourt is an instructor at Phoenix Rising. Sanzin leads the little dragon and little ninja program, leads and assists in the children’s and adult classes, and is always willing to help any student during open mat! Sanzin also teaches belt test preparation classes in the time leading up to PRMA’s bi annual group testing. In August 2024, Sanzin was awarded “Black Belt of the Year” by the AOOMKA (All Okinawan Ozark Mountain Karate Association):

Colton Means

Colton Means

Student Leader, Assistant Instructor, 1st Degree Black Belt, 16

Colton Means is an assistant instructor at Phoenix Rising. Colton is always willing to assist in the little dragons and little ninja classes, while also leading and assisting in the children’s and adult classes! Colton has the rank of student leader, teaching the younger kids leadership skills. Colton is also the leader of Phoenix Rising’s PROP Team, the advanced student demo team.
Colton’s gentle demeanor eases even the most nervous of students, building fierce confidence and strong fellowship!

Anthony Stagner

MMA Instructor, Fighting Coach, 27

Anthony Stagner is our MMA Instructor at Phoenix Rising. Having practiced martial arts since the age of 11, Anthony is a gifted fighter and grappler.
Anthony is a previous state-championship competitor in high school wrestling, a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a green belt in Kenpo Karate, and holds years of experience in kickboxing, Muay Thai, and more. Anthony is extremely knowledgeable, stringing together his several backgrounds into one unanimous vision.
